MSgt. Robert Frank Brooks, USAF, Ret'd. was born on February 29, 1932 and died on Tuesday, May 14, 2013. He was a veteran of the Korean War and Vietnam, and served in the USMC and the United States Air Force, retiring with 26 years. He retired from Civil Service after 16 years. The Bronze Star was among his commendations.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Ruth (Taura) Brooks; children, Deborah A. Roberts (David), Robert K Brooks (Dewey), Karen R. Teddy, Dawne R. Brooks, Dirk B. Brooks (Mara), 12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. He was an active member of Crossroads Baptist Church, a member of the Gideons International Northwest Camp, and a member of SARGA. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Crossroads Baptist Church/Missions Fund, 8300 Tezel Parkway, San Antonio, TX 78254, or to a charity of your choice.

SERVICES
Funeral Service will begin at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Crossroads Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with full military honors.
