Clifton Gene Ferrell was born in Bakersfield on Aug 22, 1946, to the late Paul and Jewell Ferrell. He died of natural causes after a lengthy illness in his Valley Springs home at age 69 on Feb 4. He graduated from Franklin High School in Stockton. He was a sergeant in the Air Force, serving four years during the Vietnam era, he was stationed in Taiwan for three years.
He attended San Joaquin Delta College, earning his associate of arts degree in business. He owned apartments and was a construction contractor, remodeling houses. A fun-loving witty man, he enjoyed his family, friends, traveling, cooking, gardening and storytelling. He loved music and was a great drummer. He also was an avid photographer. He loved and raised fish, birds, and animals.
He is survived by his devoted caregiver and loving wife of 41 years, Connie, his son Conrad (Ceneca), daughter Celeste (Justin), all of Valleyu Springs, a son, Todd (Brenda) of Pennsylvania, six grandchildren and two brothers, Richard and Danny. He was predeceased by his ex-wife Hazel and his son Kelley.
A celebration of life for Cliff will be held in the Spring.
