|ROY ARNOLD FRICKE
June 18, 1941 - December 31, 2013
Roy Arnold Fricke, surrounded by his wife, sons, and grandchildren, passed from his earthly bonds to his final travel destination. Roy passed from a brain aneurysm complicated by severe coughing and brain hemorrhaging.
Roy was born in Hicksville, Long Island, New York and had the passion for travel. He enlisted in the USAF Academy to help serve his country and met Ting, the love of his life. Together, they traveled the world, moving 33 times in the last 47 years.
Roy loved to travel, fish, take long walks, drink wine and collect unusual souvenirs from foreign countries. He loved his family, his country, and his politics. He is an honored veteran, a charitable Christian, a long-distance friend, a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Roy is survived by his wife, Ting, his sons, Chuck (Denise and grandaughter Rachel), Kim (Guofung and grandson Ray, 1st marriage grandchildren Kai and Ellyette), Kirk (Ex wife Megan and Grandson Matthew), his sisters Karen Kreymborg (Pete), and Nancy Melhado (Dan), and many cousins, nephews and nieces. We will miss his loud voice and his great smile!
